Project Manager
Base salary plus percentage of job revenue. Top PMs earn $140,000+/year
Heads up before you apply: our hiring process includes a short assessment that every serious candidate completes after applying. You'll receive an automated message. It's how we get to know how you think and work. No assessment, no next step, so come ready to put your best foot forward.
Who We Are
Rhino Roofs isn't your average roofing company, and we're not trying to be. We're a fast-scaling operation on Florida's Treasure Coast built on one stubborn belief: hire people who actually care, then give them the systems, training, salary and respect to do the best work of their lives. We move fast, we hold the line on quality, and we don't do "good enough." If you take pride in your work and want a team that takes it just as seriously, keep reading.
The Role
Once a contract is signed, the job is yours. Fully yours. From that moment until the final inspection passes and the customer is grinning, you're the one steering the ship. You'll work with the coordinator to schedule crews, order materials, manage customers, keep your CRM razor-sharp, and make sure nothing slips through the cracks. Our customers will trust you to keep things moving. Our team will count on you to communicate clearly and move fast when something goes sideways, because in roofing, something always eventually does. Usually when it's raining. On a Friday.
This isn't a babysitting job and it isn't a paper-pushing job. It's ownership. If that word makes you nervous, this isn't the role. If it gets you fired up, let's talk.
What You'll Do
- Take ownership of each job the moment the contract is signed and drive it all the way to closeout
- Coordinate residential roofing jobs end-to-end: scheduling, materials, permitting, and inspections
- Be the face of Rhino for your customers from kickoff to handshake
- Keep JobNimbus (our CRM/project management platform) clean, current, and accurate across every active job. "I'll update it later" is where good jobs go to die
- Handle change orders, punch lists, and warranty requests like a pro, no drama, no loose ends
- Stay ahead of crews, vendors, and the internal team so jobs never lose momentum
- Spot problems early and solve them fast. You don't wait for trouble to find you, and you definitely don't hide from it
- Keep airtight documentation on every job that carries your name
What We're Looking For
- 1 to 3 years of project management or coordination experience (roofing or construction strongly preferred)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, required
- Comfortable in JobNimbus or a comparable CRM/project management platform
- Ridiculously organized, with follow-through that never quits
- A clear communicator on every front: written, verbal, and across the table from a customer who is, let's say, having a day
- Able to juggle multiple active jobs without ever dropping the thread
- Valid driver's license (the jobs aren't going to visit themselves)
- A customer-first mindset and a professional, take-ownership attitude
Our Hiring Process
We keep it straightforward, but we're thorough on purpose:
- Application
- A required assessment that all candidates complete before moving forward. It helps us see how you think, solve problems, and operate, and it helps you see whether this role is the right fit for you too
- Quick screening
- Interview, so we can meet the person behind the resume
- Final steps and offer
The assessment isn't optional. If you're the kind of person who takes the extra step seriously, you'll fit right in here.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary plus a percentage of every job's revenue. You're not paid to clock in, you're paid to perform, and the better you run your jobs, the bigger your check
- This pay structure has real upside. Our experienced PMs are averaging $2,700 to $3,000 per week, which works out to $140,000 to $155,000+ a year once they hit their stride
- The harder and smarter you work, the more you make. No artificial ceiling
- Company Truck
- Gas allowance
- Paid time off
- 401k Matching
- Referral program
- A real growth path inside a company that's scaling fast and promoting from within
The Bottom Line
If you want to coast, there are easier jobs out there. We hear cubicles are nice this time of year. But if you want to own your work, sharpen your craft, and get paid like the results matter, you've found your roof. Apply today, be ready to complete the assessment after your screening and interview, and let's build something that lasts.
