⬇ WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Diagnose problems – Identify mechanical, electrical, and performance faults
- Engine work – Conduct timing belt, water pump, and cylinder head gasket replacements
- Perform repairs – Execute brake, suspension, steering, and drivetrain component replacements
- Routine maintenance – Handle factory-scheduled services with accuracy and efficiency
- Quality check – Test-drive vehicles to confirm repairs meet safety and quality standards
- Document & communicate – Perform thorough inspections, document your work clearly, and consult with service advisors on recommended repairs
- Grow – Partner with our senior techs on tougher diagnostic work as you build toward A-level
- Back up the front of house – Occasionally help check customers in and out when the lead is at lunch or out, and learn to open and close the shop
Japanese and German makes are what we focus on: Honda, Toyota, Subaru, Volkswagen, Audi, Volvo and others.
✅ WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- A minimum of 2–4 years of hands-on automotive repair experience beyond lube/general service
- Ability to complete B-level work (brakes, suspension, steering, drivetrain, engine repairs, common diagnostics) with minimal supervision
- 1–2 active ASE certifications strongly preferred — we'll help you earn them
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable talking with customers when you're covering the front counter
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, evolving shop
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, walk, and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor
- Must be dependable and have strong ethical standards in all actions
- Comfort with both older and newer vehicles, including EVs and hybrids
- You have your own tools sufficient for B-level workGreen
