Summary:
Coordinates clinical education for the program in Radiologic Technology.

Education, Licensure and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Experience Required: Two years clinical experience in the professional discipline; and one year experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program.
- Education Required: Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidates who do not possess a bachelor’s degree at the time of hire must obtain one within 24 months of employment.
- Licensure/Certifications Required: Current LA Radiologic Technologist Licensure. Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Proficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.

Responsibilities:
- Supports program goals and objectives.
- Coordinates student rotations in clinical settings.
- Maintains communication with the program director and clinical preceptors.
- Supports a positive learning environment.
- Evaluates clinical and didactic education effectiveness.
- Provides students with appropriate and adequate clinical supervision and instruction.
- Monitors clinical competency for each student.
- Maintains student clinical records.
- Evaluates and guides clinical preceptors.
- Schedules and conducts regular clinical preceptor meetings.
- Participates in the designated student selection process.
- Monitors radiation badge reports.
- Remains competent and current at all times.
- Participates in career days and recruitment events.
