Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our Long Island, NY distribution center. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and timely handling of our inventory, from receiving shipments to managing stock and preparing orders for dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, check, and store incoming goods.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company and food safety standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including hand trucks, and pallet jacks safely.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and update the warehouse management system.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily productivity targets and provide exceptional service.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
