Who We're Looking For
Dental World, a trusted, patient-centric, privately owned family dental practice serving Central Florida since 1982, is looking for a warm, motivated, dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dental office environment.
We’re looking for someone who loves people, understands dentistry, and thrives in a patient-focused environment. Your role is critical to creating a meaningful experience for every patient—from the first phone call to treatment completion.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical history.
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing as necessary.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental care.
- Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate with patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Assist in the preparation of treatment rooms and sterilization of instruments.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and techniques.
What We’re Looking For
- Active Florida Dental Hygienist License (required)
- 2+ years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Excellent communication skills and a caring chairside manner
- A team player with a can-do attitude who’s willing to jump in wherever needed
- Must have valid work authorization in the U.S.
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is a plus.
