Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to uphold sanitation regulations
- Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating and manage guest flow efficiently
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any guest concerns promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and sales processing
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food handling, food safety, and sanitation practices is highly desirable
- Experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess roles, or food industry roles that emphasize guest interaction
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy; ability to upsell menu items confidently
- Familiarity with food preparation, kitchen operations, or nightclub service is a plus
