Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Manager to oversee both our physical store operations and our growing digital presence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a keen understanding of retail and e-commerce management. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing inventory (in-store and online), engaging customers through social media, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience across all channels.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Lead, train, and mentor staff through effective orientation and ongoing development programs
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance
- Analyze sales data and manage inventory levels using retail math and digital tools
- Run our online store, including:
- Updating inventory and product listings
- Responding to customer messages promptly and professionally
- Packing orders and using Pirate Ship for shipping and label creation
- Manage our social media presence across Instagram and Facebook, including:
- Creating and scheduling posts
- Engaging with followers
- Running email marketing campaigns through Constant Contact
- Develop marketing strategies to promote products both in-store and online
- Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve issues promptly
- Implement effective phone and digital communication practices across the team
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve business goals
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role
- Experience managing social media accounts and basic email marketing tools (e.g., Constant Contact)
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and shipping tools such as Pirate Ship
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent customer service skills, both in-person and online
- Familiarity with wireless sales is a plus but not required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment
