As a Licensing Administrator, your typical day would include:
- Resolving traffic citations by responding to the issuing entity and/or invoicing customer as needed.
- Partnering with finance companies and XTRA Lease branch teams to assist in trailer sales (providing proper documentation needed to fund sales, releasing titles, and cancelling registration on sold equipment).
- Coordinating and maintaining titles and registrations for all XTRA Lease equipment.
- Working directly with the DMV to register and title new trailers purchased from our manufacturers.
- Ensuring the accuracy of VIN numbers and associated license plates. Auditing electronic and paper data for accuracy.
- Acting as an internal and 3rd party contact for citations, licensing, registration, and sales.
- Researching state specific requirements related to title and licensing.
- Running reports regularly to catch errors and ensure accuracy.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred.
- Minimum two years of administrative experience.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and multitask with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work under deadline.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Previous experience coordinating vehicle title and licensing in a vehicle auction, car rental, or other large fleet setting preferred, but not necessary.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Access a plus
