Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations with enthusiasm and precision. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material handling operations.
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment through effective team management and managerial communication.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems such as Synapse to track stock levels, process orders, and ensure accurate inventory control.
- Operate or oversee the operation of material handling equipment including forklifts and RF scanners to facilitate safe movement of goods.
- Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize distribution center operations.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols during heavy lifting, mechanical equipment operation, and general warehouse activities.
- Coordinate logistics with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and manage shipping & receiving schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, audits, and cycle counts to support inventory accuracy.
- Support the training of staff on warehouse safety procedures, equipment operation, and best practices for materials handling.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar warehouse management role within distribution centers or e-commerce environments.
- Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations including distribution center processes, inventory control systems (such as Synapse), and logistics coordination.
- Hands-on experience operating or supervising the use of forklifts, RF scanners, heavy lifting equipment, and other mechanical material handling tools.
- Strong familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation purposes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through team leadership skills, clear communication, and managerial oversight.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse environments and materials handling procedures.
- Mechanical aptitude or knowledge is preferred for troubleshooting equipment issues quickly to minimize downtime.
- Experience working with 3PL providers or in distribution center operations that support e-commerce fulfillment is highly desirable.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
