CDL A LIVESTOCK COMPANY DRIVER
Job Summary
Brubaker Trucking is seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Company Driver to join our growing livestock transportation team. As a Company Driver, you will safely transport livestock throughout the Midwest while representing Brubaker Trucking with professionalism and providing exceptional customer service.
This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to the safe and humane transportation of livestock. We are looking for drivers who take pride in their work, care for their equipment, and value being part of a family-oriented company.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company-owned Class A tractor and livestock trailer in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Transport livestock safely while maintaining proper animal welfare standards.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of tractor and trailer.
- Load and unload livestock safely and efficiently.
- Monitor livestock during transport and report any concerns immediately.
- Complete all required paperwork, electronic logs, and trip documentation accurately and on time.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, and customer needs.
- Keep assigned equipment clean, well-maintained, and presentable.
- Follow all biosecurity and washout procedures between designated loads.
- Maintain compliance with Hours of Service regulations and all applicable federal and state laws.
- Represent Brubaker Trucking professionally with customers, producers, sale barns, and processing facilities.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable CDL driving experience preferred.
- Previous livestock hauling experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices.
- Ability to safely load and unload livestock.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and overnight trips when necessary.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Must meet all DOT physical and drug testing requirements.

Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,600.00 per week
