We're looking for an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator for 2nd shift, who takes pride in building things that don't crack, bend, or fall apart when they leave the shop.
This is a MON-THUR 10-hour 2nd shift position from 3:30pm-2:00am
This is and isn't production welding. Some days are different; some are the same. One day you might be repairing equipment, the next you're welding a production run of Roller face plates. If you can move from one job to the next, be interrupted to do something else, then get right back into the previous job, we need you!
What You'll Do
- MIG weld steel components and repairs.
- Read blueprints and fabricate from drawings.
- Work with the machinists to build and repair parts.
- Occasionally weld aluminum (a plus, but not required—we can teach the right person).
