This position will report to Assistant Manager and Manager of Engineering. Our engineers will be responsible for engineering support of our pre-production preparations and trials as well as supporting normal production requirements of the plant. Additionally, APMM production engineers will be vital members of our continuous improvement efforts as well as aiding in development of new business, ensuring customer satisfaction and workability in the manufacturing process. Plant operations include metal stamping, plastics molding, welding, paint and assembly departments.
We have been in production since 2011 and this position will involve duties related to start of production for model changes, support services, facilities needs and equipment. Development and implementation of systems utilizing lean manufacturing methods, continuous improvement philosophies and exceptionally high quality standards will be expected.
