HydroVac Truck Operator

Position Summary
The Vac Truck Operator operates and maintains vacuum trucks to safely remove, transport, and dispose of liquids, sludge, and solids from job sites while following safety, environmental, and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
· Operate HydroVac and vacuum-truck equipment safely.
· Perform hydro-excavation, tank cleaning, line flushing, and industrial cleaning.
· Load, transport, and unload liquid, sludge, and solid waste.
· Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
· Perform basic truck maintenance including fluids, greasing, and minor repairs.
· Complete DOT logs, manifests, and service reports.
· Follow DOT, OSHA, environmental, and company safety regulations.
· Communicate with field leadership, dispatch, and customers.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Valid CDL Class A or B required.
· Tanker endorsement required.
· Previous HydroVac/vacuum-truck experience required for this opening.
· Telecom construction experience required.
· Knowledge of safety procedures and environmental regulations.
· Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding work.
Pay: $22.31 - $25.69 per hour
