About the Position

What You'll Do
As an esthetician at Aqua Vida, you will:
* Perform professional esthetic treatments within your scope of practice and training
* Conduct thoughtful client consultations and develop individualized treatment plans
* Educate clients about skincare, treatments, home-care recommendations, and long-term skin health
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage retention and continuity of care
* Actively work to develop and grow your personal clientele
* Follow up with clients and identify opportunities to continue their treatment plans
* Participate consistently in social media and content creation to educate clients, showcase services, and build visibility
* Capture appropriate before-and-after photos and treatment content
* Collaborate with nurses, nurse practitioners, injectors, and wellness providers when a client's concerns may benefit from a multidisciplinary approach
* Recognize when skin concerns may warrant further discussion of factors such as hormones, nutrition, lifestyle, wellness, or laboratory evaluation with an appropriate medical provider
* Participate in practice events, promotions, educational initiatives, and community outreach
* Maintain accurate client documentation and follow all practice protocols
* Maintain a clean, organized, prepared, and professional treatment environment
* Contribute ideas and take initiative in helping improve the client experience and grow the esthetics department
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Pay: $16.50/hour+
- Commission: Performance-based commission with total earning potential of $16.50–$91/hour, depending on individual performance and sales

Qualifications
* Current esthetician license in good standing
* Strong knowledge of skin health, skincare, and professional esthetic treatments
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Professional appearance and demeanor
* Reliable and punctual
* Strong commitment to client service and relationship building
* Willingness to participate in social media and marketing initiatives
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Commitment to continuing education and professional development
* Experience in a medical spa, dermatology, plastic surgery, or medical aesthetics environment is preferred but not required for the right candidate
Our Approach to Client Care
At Aqua Vida, we believe aesthetics and wellness are interconnected.
When a client presents with acne, changes in skin quality, premature aging, or another concern, we want our providers to think beyond the treatment room. What is happening with the client's skincare routine? Lifestyle? Nutrition? Hormones? Overall wellness?
Our estheticians are not expected to diagnose or practice outside of their scope. Instead, we value providers who recognize when another member of our team may offer an important perspective and who are comfortable collaborating with our medical and wellness providers.
