American Traveler is hiring an RN Nurse Educator for a Progressive Care Unit setting, requiring an active NC or compact RN license and 3 years of relevant experience.

Position based in the Community Education department supporting Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing staff

Variable shift schedule

Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand

Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)

Current NIH Stroke Certification required for PCU role

Minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experience required

No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment start

No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)

One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates)

Serve as a Nurse Educator supporting clinical staff development within the Progressive Care Unit specialty

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
