Role description
Company: Tredence Inc. Position Title: Business Intelligence Associate Location: 1900 Camden Ave., Suite 66, San Jose, CA 95124 Position Responsibilities: Collect business problems and the implemented solutions from the business team and analyzed the effectiveness of the solution using analytical methods. Extract information from relevant sources of retail or ecommerce, to create calculation data tables to accommodate all corner cases and possible edge cases. Create advanced, interactive, optimized, and scalable dashboards using advanced concepts of data visualization tools. Provide actionable business insights, design hypothesis based on the insights to help the business team make decisions on campaigns which in turn help the product team to decide on new product features. Automate data loads and dashboards. Design, implement and test data pipeline to enable real time reporting for the dashboards. Work with the product analytics team to create A/B test scenarios on different features of a product by developing test and control groups using statistical classification methods. Explore tools and technologies available within the organization to improve the efficiency of reporting. Position Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field PLUS one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: Advanced SQL; Tableau; Adobe Omniture; GCP Big Query; Splunk; Power BI; Python; MS Power Point; Advanced MS Excel; Insights generation from data, and; data processing.
