Content Creator:
FCM Hospitality is looking for a highly creative, culture-driven content creator to shape and grow the digital presence of some of Philadelphia’s most dynamic hospitality brands. This is not a “sit behind a desk and schedule posts” role. We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands internet culture, and knows how to turn real-life experiences into compelling content that drives engagement, builds community, and gets people through the doors.
This role is perfect for someone with strong creative instincts, a sharp eye for aesthetics, and a passion for storytelling across hospitality, nightlife, food & beverage, entertainment, live events, and social experiences. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist, creator, and trendspotter. Someone who can concept campaigns, direct and capture high-performing social content, jump on trends in real time, and bring brands to life online through video-first storytelling.
You should be obsessed with content creation and understand what makes people stop scrolling. From directing Reels and TikToks to capturing the energy of a packed patio, cocktail moment, live DJ set, or outdoor summer events, you know how to create social content that feels authentic, exciting, and culturally relevant. You’re confident behind the camera, comfortable giving creative direction on shoots, and capable of editing and producing polished short-form videos optimized for social platforms

Responsibilities
- Lead and execute social media strategy across multiple hospitality brands
- Create, direct, shoot, and edit engaging short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms
- Capture on-site content at restaurants, bars, nightlife venues, events, and activations
- Develop content calendars, campaign concepts, and social storytelling strategies
- Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates, memes, sounds, and internet culture
- Maintain and evolve each brand’s unique voice and visual identity
- Work closely with photographers, videographers, influencers, and creators to produce compelling content
- Oversee the Social Media Coordinator and assist in managing content creators
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director on campaigns, launches, partnerships, and promotions
- Engage with audiences, build community, and foster meaningful online interactions
- Analyze performance metrics and optimize content strategy based on insights
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for hospitality, lifestyle, entertainment, nightlife, or consumer brands
- Strong portfolio showcasing content creation and short-form video work
- Excellent understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging social platforms
- Experience directing and producing engaging social video content
- Skilled in shooting/editing content using iPhone and/or professional camera equipment
- Proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of social trends, storytelling, pacing, hooks, and audience engagement
- Highly creative, collaborative, organized, and adaptable in fast-paced environments
- Comfortable working nights, weekends, and on-site during events when needed
- Passion for hospitality, food & beverage, entertainment, nightlife, and culture
