Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in a dynamic educational environment. The Lead Teacher will play a pivotal role in fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes early childhood development, literacy, math skills, and social-emotional growth. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging teaching moments including literacy, math, and social-emotional learning.
- Lead classroom activities that support early intervention, speech therapy techniques, behavioral management, and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with families, therapists, and support staff to create a successful learning environment.
- Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies while fostering a respectful and inclusive environment.
- Supervise and mentor teaching assistants and other staff junior members to ensure high-quality instruction and classroom management.
- Foster a love of learning by integrating library services, Montessori principles, preschool activities, and innovative teaching techniques into daily routines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings; preschool or private school experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, special education practices, behavioral health strategies, and classroom management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills for mentoring staff, collaborating with families, and engaging children effectively.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
