Automation Engineer – HR Process Automation (UiPath & Power Automate)
Location: Carrollton, TX (Hybrid options available)
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate to drive automation of key HR business processes. This role will partner closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to design, build, and scale intelligent automation solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy RPA solutions using UiPath and Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop)

Collaborate with HR stakeholders to identify and prioritize automation opportunities across processes such as:

Employee onboarding/offboarding

Payroll and benefits administration
-
Recruiting and candidate tracking
-
Case management and service delivery
-
Translate business requirements into scalable automation workflows and reusable components

Integrate automation solutions with HR and other Enterprise systems

Perform testing, debugging, and optimization of automation scripts for reliability and performance
-
Monitor bot performance and ensure smooth production operations

Maintain documentation, governance standards, and best practices for automation lifecycle

Support CI/CD, version control, and automation governance frameworks

Provide support and training to HR teams for adopted automation solutions
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
-
5+ years of experience in RPA/automation development

Strong hands-on expertise in:
-
UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, REFramework, attended/unattended bots)
-
Microsoft Power Automate (flows, connectors, Power Platform ecosystem)

Experience automating HR or enterprise business processes

Proficiency in scripting or programming (e.g., Python, .NET, or similar)

Familiarity with APIs, web services, and system integrations

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with HR platforms such as SAP or Oracle HCM

Knowledge of AI/Intelligent Automation (OCR, document processing, AI Builder, etc.)

Experience with Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power BI)

Understanding of data privacy and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA where applicable)

UiPath or Microsoft Power Platform certifications

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 101,600 - USD 152,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
