The Staff Engineer I (EIT) will apply civil engineering principles for entire District water resource project cycles, to include design, development, project coordination, inspection, and project completion. Major responsibilities include, in part: Preparing analysis of projects for preliminary design, calculations, life cycle cost, and equipment selection; conducting surveys to gather field data; preparing drawings, layouts, and constructions plans, and preparing technical construction specifications.
Required Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; Engineering in Training (EIT) Certificate; and a range of experience from a new college graduate to five (5) years of successful engineering work experience.
Other Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent; Washington State Driver License with acceptable driving record; acceptable criminal background record, and clean drug screen.
