Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors and progress to inform treatment adjustments
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting to promote independence
- Support educational goals through teaching functional communication, social skills, and behavioral management strategies
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with team members to develop and modify behavior support strategies tailored to each client’s needs
- Foster a safe, supportive environment that encourages positive behavior change and emotional well-being
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and special education principles is highly desirable
- Strong data collection skills and attention to detail are essential for tracking client progress effectively
- Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation standards, and confidentiality protocols such as HIPAA enhances your ability to succeed in this role
- Compassionate attitude with excellent patience and communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and their families

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
