Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive, providing friendly and professional guest relations.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest satisfaction.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS accurately for processing payments and orders.
- Handle guest inquiries via phone with proper phone etiquette, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Assist with basic food service tasks when necessary, supporting the team during busy periods.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate seating and guest flow efficiently, ensuring smooth operations.
Requirements
- Previous host/hostess experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Experience with food service operations and familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Excellent communication skills, including clear phone etiquette and guest interaction.
- Knowledge of restaurant procedures, guest services, and hospitality standards.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
