We are seeking a caring, dependable, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at a private residential school serving students with special needs.
As a Housekeeper, you will play an important role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment where our students can thrive. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and is committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize residential areas, bathrooms, offices, classrooms and common spaces.

Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and empty trash.

Restock cleaning supplies and report maintenance issues.

Follow health, safety, and infection control procedures.

Work respectfully with staff and around students while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred, but not required.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical cleaning tasks.

Must successfully pass background checks.

Must provide strong, verifiable professional and character references.
