Job Summary
Lighthouse Preparatory Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Middle School Teacher to lead a small group of approximately 4-6 students in grades 6–8. This is a unique opportunity to teach in an innovative microschool where relationships, creativity, and hands-on learning are at the center of everything we do.
The teacher will guide students through core subject areas—including language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies—using our established project-based curriculum and materials. Students also participate in coding, engineering, entrepreneurship, and other interdisciplinary projects that encourage critical thinking and real-world problem solving. Lessons emphasize discussion, collaboration, technology, and authentic learning experiences rather than worksheets and lectures.
