We are seeking an experienced Production Scheduler to join our Manufacturing Division. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules to ensure customer orders are completed on time while maximizing machine capacity, labor efficiency, and material availability.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long-range production schedules.

Utilize scheduling software and ERP systems to balance production capacity, labor, machine availability, and customer demand.

Monitor production schedules and adjust priorities to meet changing customer requirements.

Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Sales, Engineering, Quality, Shipping, and Warehouse teams to ensure materials and resources are available.

Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts involving machine capacity, labor, material shortages, or outside processing.

Analyze production performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and on-time delivery.

Maintain accurate scheduling information within ERP and production planning systems.

Participate in production planning meetings and communicate schedule updates to key stakeholders.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in production scheduling, manufacturing planning, supply chain planning, or production control.

Experience with Planet Together APS is highly preferred.

Experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Infor, or similar.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, filtering, pivot tables, and data analysis.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
Preferred Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Experience in manufacturing, machining, metals, industrial products, or high-mix production environments.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.

APICS/ASCM CPIM certification.

Experience with Power BI or production reporting tools.
Physical Requirements

Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.

Ability to regularly walk the manufacturing floor to communicate with production personnel and monitor workflow.

Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
