Administrative Coordinator 1-4
In this key role, you will help strengthen the integrity and effectiveness of our Child Welfare Federal Programs & Grants unit by preparing reports, organizing documentation, maintaining critical records, time administration and supporting compliance efforts. Your work ensures accuracy, accountability, and seamless coordination within a unit that plays a vital role within the agency.

Job Duties:

Provides administrative secretarial support to five programs and provide assistance to staff in the assigned programs to meet program needs.

Documents information for Unit Administrator and unit staff related to daily work activities in multiple databases as well as developing reports as needed from those data bases.

Monitor daily reports for updates and collect information to provide reminders to section managers.

Screens and handles emails, calls, and mail and answers questions regarding office procedures and services.

Serves as payroll and time data entry administrator or back up auditor as needed.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: This position may be filled as a probational appointment or a job appointment that may last up to 48 months. Job appointments may convert to probational appointments. Also, it may be filled as a detail and promoted within 12 months or by promotion of a permanent classified employee.
Career Progression: This vacancy may be filled as an Administrative Coordinator 1-4 depending on experience.
Work Schedule: Typically, work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Flexible work schedules are available after meeting certain criteria and is dependent upon the position you are applying for. Some positions require working shifts.
Work Location: Baton Rouge, LA- State Office Building
