We are looking for someone to join our team with the hope to develop a long-term relationship serving as a salad maker. Our company values a quality of life for our employees and their families. The salad maker works Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to approximately 2:15 p.m. Night and weekend hours are not required but occasionally available with extra incentive. The start and end time are fairly standard but may vary depending on the needs of our clients. Our preference is to support employees in having a regular schedule and we aim to be consistent from week to week.
- Organize prep tickets for production
- Stock salad station with all necessary items for production
- Keep all product properly rotated
- Monitor quality of produce at all times
- Accurately make all salads as they are ordered
- Follow all ticketing procedures throughout production
- Prep all salad dressings and miscellaneous items as needed At the salad station
- Good sanitary practices (hand washing, sanitizer buckets)
- Follow all food safety rules when handling production
- Work with speed and a sense of urgency
- Help with all other prep associated with the kitchen
- Show good customer service skills when interacting with guests (Smiling, being courteous, saying please and thank you)
- General cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and dishes
- Close the station down at the end of the day
- Communicate with manager about products needed
- Any other job tasks as directed by the manager
- Flexibility to be cross trained to work in other parts of the kitchen
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis
- This position requires standing for the majority of the day
- Pay range includes a conservative estimate of expected tips from the tip pool
