Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Third Shift Cook to assist in our evening kitchen operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and adheres to strict food safety and sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Kitchen Setup & Prep: Open the kitchen, set up workstations, and execute daily prep lists (e.g., chopping vegetables, mixing batters, and preparing breakfast meats, etc.).
- Food Production: Prepare and cook menu items quickly and accurately, ensuring all dishes meet established portion controls and quality standards.
- Breakfast Specialty: Specialize in cooking breakfast favorites (eggs, pancakes, skillets, etc.) to order.
- Inventory Management: Check stock, organize walk-in coolers, and enforce strict FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory rotation.
- Sanitation & Safety: Maintain a spotless workstation, follow proper food handling guidelines, and complete assigned daily cleaning and dishwashing tasks.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth morning service.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or Short Order Cook.
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with standard kitchen equipment (grills, flat tops, fryers).
**3rd Shift 10:30pm - 6:30am Monday - Friday and Saturdays as needed.**
