American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Infusion Unit position in Boston, MA, requiring oncology infusion experience and an active MA RN license.
-
60-bed/chair outpatient infusion unit within a Division of Hematology-Oncology at an academic medical center
-
Hematology-oncology patient population, including complex GI chemotherapy regimens
-
36-hour day shift schedule, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
-
Every other weekend (EOW) required
-
Every other holiday (EOH) required
-
Epic EMR used for charting
-
Active MA RN license required; no conditional or pending licenses accepted

BLS certification required — AHA only; Red Cross not accepted for this location

ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) certification required

Minimum 2 years of oncology infusion experience in an academic medical center (AMC)
-
Minimum 1 year of outpatient nursing experience required
-
Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required

Strong IV placement and patient assessment skills required

Experience with complex GI chemotherapy regimens required

2 professional references required for consideration

Administer infusion therapies including complex oncology and GI chemotherapy regimens to hematology-oncology patients

Flu vaccine is mandatory; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted

Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will be offered a reduced rate compared to the standard travel rate

Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos
