Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician - II to join our dynamic manufacturing facility team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal production performance. Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems will help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulic systems, HVAC/R units, and electrical components.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics, precision measuring instruments (such as ammeters and ohmmeters), and analysis skills.
- Repair or replace faulty components, including motors, sensors, switches, wiring, and high-voltage systems, adhering to safety standards.
- Operate field service tools such as scissor lifts and forklifts to access elevated or hard-to-reach equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, parts inventory, and equipment history.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance through technical support and troubleshooting.
- Assist with welding tasks specific to <LOCATION> welding standards when required for equipment repair or modification projects.
- Follow safety protocols related to low voltage and high voltage electrical work, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with industrial electrician tasks involving low voltage and high voltage systems.
- Proficiency with schematics reading, analysis skills, and the use of precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, welding (including <LOCATION> welding), and industrial mechanics.
- Ability to operate field service equipment like scissor lifts safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance tracking is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English across diverse teams
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
