Harbor Moving & Storage is hiring a professional CDL Class A driver immediately
This is a strong opportunity for a driver looking for steady work with a growing Long Island company—without the typical headaches of traditional freight or heavy labor.
Compensation:
$27 an hour to start for local work
$400 per day for overnight/regional trips
Hotel stays fully paid by company

What the job looks like:This role is primarily driving a tractor trailer for Harbor Moving & Storage.
Typical work includes: Local pickups in Long Island / NYC metro Regional runs primarily to Florida and the Carolinas East Coast deliveries Most trips are approximately 3–7 days
Important: This is NOT a heavy moving labor position.
We provide the loading and unloading crews.
Driver responsibilities include: Safe and professional driving Inventory verification Light furniture disassembly/reassembly when needed Basic customer interaction Professional representation of Harbor on the road and at customer locations
Requirements:
Valid CDL Class A
Clean driving record
Must pass DOT drug/alcohol screening
Professional and customer-friendly
Reliable and punctual (very important)
Moving experience is a plus
