We are seeking an experienced CNC Setup Programmer to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for programming, setting up, and optimizing CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts while meeting production and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and/or lathes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Select tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters.
- Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
- Maintain quality, safety, and production standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams on process improvements.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of CNC setup and programming experience.
- Proficiency with G-code and CAD/CAM software.
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with tight-tolerance machining preferred.
Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour
