We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Coordinator Director of Student Ministries to lead and inspire our youth community. Duties
- Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive student ministry programs that promote spiritual growth, leadership, and community involvement.
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteer teams dedicated to youth engagement and religious education.
- Facilitate age-appropriate religious teachings, Bible studies, and faith-based activities for children and teenagers.
- Coordinate special events such as retreats, mission trips, youth camps, and outreach initiatives to foster community connection.
- Provide mentorship and pastoral support to students facing personal challenges or spiritual questions, including offering guidance on bereavement support and Christian counseling.
- Collaborate with church leadership to align youth programs with organizational mission and vision while actively engaging the wider community through outreach efforts.
- Lead fundraising efforts to support youth activities and expand program resources while maintaining compliance with nonprofit faith-based organization standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in youth ministry, religious organization childcare, or related pastoral work with a strong background in religious teaching and leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to develop engaging youth programs that incorporate social work principles, mentoring, and community service.
- Excellent communication skills for effectively connecting with children, teens, families, volunteers, and church leadership.
- Knowledge of pastoral theology, Christian counseling techniques, and religious studies relevant to youth engagement.
- Experience managing volunteers within nonprofit faith-based organizations or religious communities.
- Strong event planning skills with the ability to organize retreats, mission trips, and outreach events that inspire participation.
- Familiarity with fundraising strategies to support youth initiatives and organizational growth efforts.
