Job Summary
Ro Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. We are hiring providers to support schools within the Savannah and Pooler areas. This position would start in August and continue through the 26-27 School Year.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, promoting independence and skill development.
- Collect and record data on client progress, behaviors, and responses to interventions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans as needed.
- Provide support in teaching social skills, communication, and self-management techniques.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
- Document medical records accurately, ensuring all medical terminology is used appropriately.
- Engage in behavior management strategies to promote positive outcomes for clients.
Experience
- Previous experience in behavioral therapy or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Familiarity with special education practices and patient care protocols.
- Knowledge of medical documentation processes, including care plans and behavioral health records.
- Understanding of data collection methods related to behavior analysis.
