Maintenance Technician – The Dunes Apartments | Melbourne, FL
Pay: $21–$23 per hour
The Dunes Apartments is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for completing apartment maintenance repairs, unit turns, preventive maintenance, and resident service requests while helping maintain a safe and attractive community.
Responsibilities:
- Complete general maintenance repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, painting, and carpentry
- Respond to resident work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing repairs and ensuring move-in readiness
- Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment
- Maintain common areas, grounds, and community amenities
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous apartment maintenance or general maintenance experience preferred
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and basic carpentry
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors/outdoors as needed
- EPA Certification preferred but not required
