Press Brake Operator
Location: Covington, GA
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Overtime as needed)
Pay: $40,000 - $45,000 annually, based on experience

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating press brake equipment to fabricate high-quality sheet metal components according to engineering specifications. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing accurate work, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient production environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate press brake equipment to form sheet metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Set up tooling and machine parameters to achieve accurate bends and dimensional requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Inspect finished parts to verify bend angles, dimensions, and overall quality standards.
- Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, tape measures, angle gauges, and squares.
- Safely lift, move, and position sheet metal components throughout the fabrication process.
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and machine operating guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a press brake or similar sheet metal fabrication equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication specifications.
- Experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely handle sheet metal materials.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
