Just A Little Higher is seeking a Full-Time/Part-Time Receptionist to join our team. An ideal candidate is organized and sociable with cannabis knowledge and exemplary customer service skills.
The receptionist at Just A Little Higher, will be responsible for greeting customers as they come in, validating their ID, and checking them into our system. The receptionist will also assist customers with any questions they may have while waiting in the lobby and answer any incoming phone calls to the dispensary.
Qualified applicants must have 2 years customer service experience. Cannabis industry experience is preferred but not required. We can train the right applicant.
Responsibilities:

Greet customers as they come in and validate their ID

Check customers into our point of sale system

Tend to customers while they wait in the lobby, answering any questions they may have

Answer incoming phone calls and transfer them to appropriate dispensary staff members or answer their general questions

Make sure lobby stays clean and orderly

Assist with other dispensary tasks as needed
Stay in compliance with New York state cannabis regulations

Qualifications & Requirements:

Knowledgeable of cannabis basics—products, strains, consumption methods

2 Years customer service experience, preferably in cannabis industry

Friendly, personable, and service-oriented

Minimum age requirement, 21

Must possess valid driver’s license or state ID

Must pass any and all required background checks
Compensation:
Salary range $16.00 - $17.00 Hour
