Job Description
We are seeking a patient, experienced swim instructor to provide private swim lessons for two children ages 4 and 5.
Lessons will be held twice per week and conducted one-on-one (30 minutes per child) for a total of one hour per session.
Instruction may take place at either a private home pool or nearby community clubhouse pool in the Bel Air area, depending on scheduling and availability.
We are looking for someone warm, safety-focused, and experienced with young beginners who can build water confidence, comfort, and foundational swim skills in a calm, structured, and encouraging environment.
This is an ongoing recurring position.
Responsibilities
- Provide private 1:1 swim instruction (30 minutes per child)
- Teach foundational water safety and beginner swim skills
- Create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
- Adapt lessons based on each child’s comfort and progress
- Maintain constant supervision and prioritize safety at all times
Requirements
- Experience teaching swim lessons to young children (ages 3–6 preferred)
- Strong understanding of water safety practices
- Patient, reliable, and engaging teaching style
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Comfortable working in private or community pool settings
Compensation
$50 per hour (includes two 30-minute private lessons per session)
