Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver complex construction and JOC (Job Order Contracting) projects from estimation through closeout. The ideal candidate combines strong project management and estimating expertise with hands-on experience in construction and demolition, and proficiency with Gordian/eGordian or similar JOC estimating platforms. This role will focus on ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, compliant with safety and quality standards, and aligned with client objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, construction, and closeout for multiple concurrent projects.

Prepare, review, and approve detailed estimates, cost analyses, scopes of work, and change orders; act as lead estimator for JOC task orders as needed.

Manage Job Order Contracting (JOC) operations: coordinate with Gordian/eGordian tools, prepare task orders, maintain pricing libraries, and ensure compliance with JOC protocols.

Coordinate and supervise contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and quality performance; conduct regular site visits and progress inspections.

Develop and maintain project schedules, forecasts, and cash flow projections; proactively identify and mitigate risks and delays.

Serve as primary client and stakeholder point of contact; communicate project status, budget updates, and technical issues clearly and professionally.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, permit requirements, and company policies; lead pre-construction reviews and safety meetings.

Manage project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, daily reports, change orders, and as-built records.

Mentor and lead junior project managers, estimators, and field staff; foster a continuous improvement culture and share best practices.

Drive continuous process improvements in estimating, project controls, and construction management to optimize cost, schedule, and performance.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered.

Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in construction project management with significant experience in JOC/Job Order Contracting environments.

Minimum 5 years of overseeing project managers and managing a project portfolio of a minimum of $10 Million.

Proven estimating experience and strong cost control skills; experience serving as an estimator or lead estimator on construction projects.

Hands-on experience with Gordian and/or eGordian platforms or equivalent JOC estimating software.

Demonstrated experience with construction and demolition projects, including scope development and subcontractor oversight.

Strong leadership and people-management skills with experience mentoring teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; client-facing experience and ability to clearly present technical and financial information.

Proficient with project management and office software (MS Project, Procore, Primavera, Excel) and familiar with construction documentation and project controls.

Professional certifications preferred: PMP, CCM, DBIA, or equivalent; OSHA 30 or similar safety certification a plus.
