Experienced Licensed Massage Therapist — Be Rewarded for Working Evenings and Weekends
ME Spa Northern CT Inc. is seeking an experienced, dependable and highly skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our growing team. This position is designed for a service provider who wants a consistent schedule, strong client demand, valuable employee benefits and the opportunity to earn no less than an annualized $60,000 in total compensation when all performance and availability requirements are met.
Minimum Compensation Commitment
For every two-week pay period in which the Massage Therapist:
- Works 100% of their scheduled shifts without calling out;
- Maintains at least 25 bookable service hours each week;
- Remains available to perform all required massage services and enhancements;
- Maintains all required licenses, certifications and training; and
- Meets the company’s professional, attendance and service standards;
the Massage Therapist will receive no less than $2,307.69 in total compensation for that two-week pay period, including wages, service compensation, commissions and gratuities.
This amount represents annualized total compensation of at least $60,000, provided the employee continues to satisfy all requirements during each applicable pay period.
The terms of the company’s written compensation plan will govern eligibility, calculations and any employer-paid earnings supplement necessary to meet the stated minimum.
Required Availability
Applicants must be able to:
- Work evenings and weekends consistently;
- Work scheduled shifts ending as late as 9:00 p.m.;
- Maintain at least 25 bookable massage-service hours per week;
- Remain available throughout their scheduled service hours; and
- Maintain reliable and consistent attendance.
This position is not appropriate for candidates seeking daytime-only or weekday-only schedules.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- A current Connecticut Massage Therapist license in good standing;
- At least two years of professional massage therapy experience;
- Current prenatal massage certification;
- Strong proficiency in customized therapeutic and relaxation massage;
- The ability to perform consecutive massage sessions safely and professionally;
- Excellent communication, time-management and client-care skills; and
- A commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and treatment-room standards.
Required Enhancement Training
During initial onboarding, the selected candidate must be willing to complete company-approved certification and training to provide:
- Himalayan Salt Stone Massage enhancements; and
- Thermabliss Hot Stone Massage enhancements.
Continued eligibility for the minimum compensation commitment requires the Massage Therapist to remain trained, certified and bookable for prenatal massage and all required massage enhancements.
