Pay rate: $18-45
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines while producing precision components that meet strict quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong machining knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machining equipment safely and efficiently.
- Operate multiple machines while maintaining production goals.
- Make machine adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and quality.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.
- Utilize calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparators, and other inspection tools.
- Perform minor CNC program edits as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and communicate production concerns.
- Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of CNC machining experience or completion of a Precision Machining program.
- Strong understanding of machining practices.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of geometry, trigonometry, and precision measurement.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Swiss-style CNC machines.
- Experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
