Overview
Virellis Staffing Group LLC. is building a pool of qualified Security Officers for current and upcoming opportunities with client organizations throughout the Fort Lauderdale area, including hospitals, schools, and other facility types. Selected candidates may be placed with one of our partner companies based on experience, licensing, availability, and client needs.

What You May Be Doing
- Monitoring CCTV and surveillance systems to identify potential security concerns
- Controlling access to facilities by verifying the credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors
- Conducting routine patrols to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry
- Responding to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
- Assisting with first aid and de-escalating tense situations
- Documenting incidents and maintaining accurate activity logs
- Supporting loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting suspicious activity
- Performing other general security duties as assigned by the client site
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of CCTV and general security technology
- First aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Law enforcement, military, or security operations experience preferred
- Strong conflict management skills and a calm, professional demeanor under pressure
- Familiarity with loss prevention practices
- Understanding of security protocols, emergency procedures, and relevant regulations
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in varied environments such as healthcare facilities, educational campuses, and commercial sites

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
