MW Building Systems, LLC is hiring a Project Manager to lead projects in Waipahu and across Oʻahu from preconstruction through closeout. We're looking for someone with strong technical judgment and ownership of budget and contract performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage project budget, cost control, and monthly owner billing
- Prepare and submit monthly owner pay applications; review and approve subcontractor invoices and payment releases
- Administer contracts — subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals
- Provide technical direction on design interpretation and construction methods
- Ensure project execution complies with contract and company requirements
- Lead client and owner communication and reporting
- Direct Superintendent and Project Engineer(s); oversee schedule and quality
- Manage risk, procurement, and subcontractor performance
- Familiar with estimating
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive construction experience, including time as a Project Engineer
- Demonstrated experience in contract administration and budget/cost management
- Strong technical grasp of construction methods and ability to read plans and specs
- Track record of moving from field-level execution into project leadership
- PMP or similar credential a plus
- RME a plus
