We are seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner to join our endocrinology department! Prior experience working in endocrinology is a must!
General Summary
Educate and advise patients, diagnose and treat health problems, and provide general health care under the direction of the Physician.
Works under the supervision of Physician(s).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Consistently arrives at work on time and adheres to regular work schedule.

Obtain comprehensive patient histories.

Perform physical examinations.

Diagnose and treat health care and chronic diseases.
-
Order and interpret diagnostic studies such as lab work and x-rays.

Assess patients. Develop and implement treatment plans approved by physician.

Promotes positive health behaviors and self-care skills through education and counseling.

Administer medication upon order of physician.

Collaborate with physicians as needed.

Other treatments and/or procedures after consulting with or under the supervision of the physician.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Required:
-
Consistently arrives at work in appropriate/professional attire.

Completes all tasks within established time frame.

Adheres to all clinic policies and procedures.
-
Active and appropriate state Nurse Practitioner licensure.

Knowledge of Physician Assistant theory, practice and medical care, medical equipment and instruments, and OSHA regulations.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-
Ability to analyze and determine solutions in order to best serve the patients.

BLS or CPR certification.
Education:
-
Master’s degree from an accredited school.
