Position Summary:
We are on the hunt for a compassionate, experienced, and energetic Floater Teacher who provides classroom support across all age groups (Infants to School-Age). This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is adaptable, and thrives in different classroom settings. You will collaborate with lead and assistant teachers to ensure a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate environment for all children.
Responsibilities:
- Support classroom routines and schedules across age groups
- Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging classroom environment
- Assist with diapering, potty training, meals, and rest time as needed
- Implement and support daily curriculum and activities
- Follow all center policies, licensing regulations, and safety guidelines
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Provide coverage for teacher absences, breaks, and planning times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a licensed childcare setting required
- Comfortable working with all age groups, from Infants to School-Age
- High school diploma or equivalent; ECE coursework preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication, flexibility, and teamwork skills
- Must pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements
