Job Overview
Lago by Druthers is seeking experienced, professional line cooks to join our culinary team. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the head chef and sous chefs with their daily tasks, contributing to prep execution, setting up and stocking stations for service and preparing food to the chef’s specifications. Weekend availability is mandatory. Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Familiarity with food safety principles
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Proficiency in organizational skills to manage kitchen tasks efficiently
