Estimated starting date: January 2027
Role Overview
We're looking for an enthusiastic, entry-level social media professional to join our team. This role includes intensive training for the first 2 months where you'll learn our systems, content creation process, and client management approach. If you're eager to build a career in social media and want hands-on experience at a fast-paced agency, this role is for you.
Career Growth: After your first year with Brand Capture, you are guaranteed a promotion to Senior Social Media Manager if you stay on the team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead social media management for 9-11 local business accounts, mainly on Instagram and TikTok. This includes:
Onboard new clients to understand their brand and goals.
Develop relationships with each client.
Research each client's niche and use creativity to create a shot list for content shoots.
Lead on-site content shoots.
Edit short-form video content and photo content (photos and graphics) using footage taken on the content shoot. We use Canva and CapCut for editing, but similar platforms are also allowed.
Build content calendars using Airtable and post for each client.
Analyze performance metrics and prepare monthly reports for clients.
Collaborate with our team on additional local business social media accounts. This includes:
Help brainstorm ideas for clients across Brand Capture.
Attend additional content shoots as “extra hands”. Most of our content shoots include 2 social media managers: one who is leading the shoot and the other who is helping out.
Take part in the growth of Brand Capture as a whole including business strategy and sales. This includes:
Create social media content for Brand Capture's socials.
Pitch our services to local businesses to sign new clients (this is where the commission comes in).
Be involved in growth conversations for the agency as a whole, including evaluating new services, improving current services, forming partnerships, and bringing in completely new ideas.
This aspect of the role is flexible and shaped by what excites you most internally.
