Allergy Immunology Associates of New England (AIANE) is a fast growing, patient-centered practice dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with allergies, asthma, and immune conditions. With multiple office locations and a compassionate team of providers and staff, we deliver high-quality care in a collaborative and supportive environment. We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys a mix of clinical and administrative duties in a dynamic, high-volume specialty practice. Westfield / Northampton Offices are seeking a candidate to work with our providers. We have four locations throughout Western MA.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare exam rooms and assist providers with patient visits.

Obtain patient vitals, including oxygen saturation (SpO2), medical history, and medication lists.

Administer allergy testing and support immunotherapy procedures.

Document patient encounters in the electronic health record (EHR).

Provide patient education regarding medication, treatment plans, and follow-up care.

Complete patient pharmacy information and coordinate with specialty pharmacies as needed.

Take patient phone calls and answer clinical questions within scope of practice.

Prepare and organize charts for next-day patients to ensure smooth clinical flow.

Check medication and serum expiration dates to maintain safety and compliance.

Maintain clinical supply inventory and ensure rooms are fully stocked.

Support front desk staff with scheduling, phone calls and patient flow as needed.

Ensure compliance with HIPPAA, OSHA, and infection control standards.
Requirements:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required.

Current CPR/BLS certification.
-
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude.
Preferred:

Previous experience in an outpatient, allergy/immunology, or specialty practice.

Requirements:
- Six months to one year related experience in a medical office or similar clinical setting.

Graduate of Medical Assisting Program required; certification preferred. Current CPR certification required.

Knowledge of medical practice to assist in giving patient care.

Knowledge of examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures.

Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.

Must have reliable transportation.

Knowledge of computer software. (Word, Excel, Outlook).
