We are hiring a Field Service Pump Mechanic to join our service team. In this role, you'll perform maintenance, repair, testing, and rebuilding of pumps, motors, small engines, valves, and related equipment both in the shop and at customer job sites.
This position is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals who enjoy hands-on work, troubleshooting industrial equipment, and working both independently and as part of a team. Candidates should be dependable, safety-focused, and committed to delivering quality service.
Pay
- $28.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Overtime opportunities available
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum of 2 years of shop mechanic experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to safely work in both shop and field environments
Preferred
- Experience with pumps, valves, motors, or small engines
- Industrial maintenance or rotating equipment experience
- Experience performing equipment testing and rebuilds
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, testing, and rebuilding of pumps, motors, small engines, valves, and related equipment
- Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while meeting quality standards
- Perform service work both in the shop and at customer job sites
- Complete all required service documentation and repair records
- Research repair procedures and equipment specifications before beginning work
- Identify and report safety concerns to management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
