Central Office Executive Administrative AssistantThe Ralph C. Mahar Regional School District is seeking a highly organized, professional, and detail-oriented Central Office Executive Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the Superintendent, School Committee, and Central Office team.This is a 37.75 hour-per-week position, with flexibility to be structured as either a school-year or calendar-year position based on the selected candidates interest and availability.Primary ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing administrative and scheduling support to the Superintendent and Central Office.Coordinating School Committee and subcommittee meetings, including agendas, postings, meeting materials, and minutes.Processing and maintaining confidential CORI, fingerprinting, personnel, and other district records.Preparing correspondence, letters, reports, and district communications.Assisting with employee onboarding, recognition, and other Central Office functions.Coordinating district events, retreats, Convocation, meetings, and special projects.Assisting with district website development and maintenance.Managing general Central Office operations, including mail, office supplies, work permits, records requests, required postings, and other administrative functions.Performing additional administrative duties and special projects as assigned by the Superintendent or designee.QualificationsThe successful candidate should possess: Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Strong computer and technology skills, including proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office.The ability to prepare professional correspondence, agendas, and meeting minutes.Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with administrators, School Committee members, staff, and the public.Administrative or executive assistant experience preferred.School district, municipal, or other public-sector experience preferred.Familiarity with Massachusetts public meeting requirements and school district operations preferred.Knowledge and experience utilizing AI tools preferred.Occasional attendance at evening School Committee and subcommittee meetings is required.Salary: $23.02$28.91 per hour, based on experience
